Eagle Rock Entertainment has taken what has long been a ‘must own’ bootleg concert for fans of the Who and restored it, both visually and sonically, to new heights. The visual, grainy at times, is more than acceptable. The concert footage, overall, looks great while the sound makes you feel like you are sitting front and center in the audience.

Recorded on November 20, 1975, the Who were touring in support of their seventh album, The Who by Numbers. Featured are all four original members, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, Keith Moon and John Entwistle, making this much more than just a concert. In fact, one could describe it as a historical document.

The band were on fire and the set list contains many of the Who’s most classic songs including “Substitute,” “I Can’t Explain,” “Squeeze Box,” “Baba O’Riley,” “Boris the Spider,” “Behind Blue Eyes,” “Acid Queen,” “Pinball Wizard,” “Summertime Blues,” “My Generation,” “Join Together,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and “Magic Bus.” All in all, 24 songs are performed.

This was the classic Who era where Pete was doing his windmill, Roger donned his long blond curls and swung his microphone over his head. The fantastic imagery of the band is captured well in this concert.

The concert is like taking a ride in the magic bus and traveling back in time to the adolescence of rock concerts. The crowd and band revel in the musical energy bringing about a truly magical performance by one of the mightiest rock bands ever to grace the stage.
