Dale Sherman knows his stuff when it comes to Kiss, in fact even Kiss Army founder Bill Starkey says as much in the introduction.

Kiss fans fall into two categories: A) Ones who will know as much, or more, than Sherman and will love to nitpick his info to argue about it, or, B) Those who want to know as much as Sherman who will scour this thing for weeks, months and years until they have memorized it’s contents.

We are talking about a band that has fans that love the music, the look and even the merchandise with every fiber of their being. How can they not love this book?

In this book we learn about TV shows the band was on, inside info behind goofy movies they starred in and even the truth on Kiss blood in comic books, the worst album cover, meaning behind lyrics and the solo albums and just about everything else under the sun.

While Sherman did his research (the photos are cool as hell) this book is geared at the Kiss fanatic. So, if you are not one then it won’t be that interesting. Now, if he had somehow got those nude photos that Gene Simmons says he has of all of the woman he has slept with over the years, then that would have made this one that much more awesome.

Sadly, that didn’t happen but, suffice it to say, Kiss fans will snap this one up. Surprisingly, as a non-Kiss fanatic, I must admit I even kept coming back to this book, time and time again.

It’s a great bathroom reader if nothing else. And that is meant as a compliment!
