I love both versions of Yes.  I wish they would all join together before it is too late. It is what they need to do...it is what they should do.  It is, however, what they have not done.

If forced to pick a Yes...I pick this one. This lineup is able to play tunes masterfully from every era of Yes. They have Jon Anderson on vocals and they are having fun on stage, as this Blu-ray proves.

The ONLY thing I don't like about Live at the Apollo is that more songs are not performed.  What is here slays from beginning to end. I absolutely could listen to Trevor Rabin play guitar non-stop for a week and not be sick of it. Same goes for the rest of the band.

Yes fans who worship Steve Howe will hate this without giving it a chance. I get it, but it is a shame as the Howe worshipers are missing a great show. This concert is amazing. It looks great, it sounds great...it is great. The master artisanship is stunning. The musicianship outstanding. The track list superb.  The only thing that could have made this better was if they had played 90125 in its entirety...maybe someday.

Until Yes decides they could make a billion dollars and thrill fans worldwide by getting everyone left together on one stage...this is the Yes for me.  This is the Blu-ray for me. I love this concert.  It is a must-own in my book.
