On June 30, 1990 , in England’s Knebworth, the planet earth was host to one of the best rock concerts of all time!

The talent at the show is simply too much to believe.  Gathered in one place were Phil Collins, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Elton John, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Genesis and Pink Floyd.  The track listing is the top of any classic rock playlist anywhere in the world.  And there were many other acts there as well, including Cliff Richard, Tears for Fears and Status Quo.

The concert film has long been available on DVD, but now one can experience the show with current Blu-Ray technology.  The release has uncompressed stereo and DTS-HD Master Audio quality.  What this means to the common man is that this sucker looks and sounds better than ever before, maybe even better than if you were at the show!

To go any further would be a lush and gush fest.  So, I will do you a favor and not make you read that.  Well, we have to mention that Jimmy Page’s outfit made him look goofy and that Pink Floyd performing “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” is totally gush worthy.

Holy British beans, this was a great concert!
